Vancouver Island elopements

A short flight to a place that feels like only yours.

Helicopter elopements with 49 North Helicopters

We lift off from Campbell River with just the two of you, or a few of the people you love, and land on a glacier, beside an alpine lake or on a ridge above the clouds. No crowds and no schedule but the light. I plan the day with you and the pilots, so all you have to do is show up and be there for it.

Ways to elope

Just the two of you

Fly to a glacier, an alpine lake or a mountain ridge for your vows and a quiet few hours together.

With your people

Bring a handful of family and friends along for a ceremony on the mountain.

Closer to home

Forests, beaches and wild coastline.

Elopement photography begins at $2,190. Flight time is booked with 49 North Helicopters.

Good to know

Two flights to choose from

Two hours in the Vancouver Island mountains, or three hours to the West Coast glaciers of the Coast Mountains. The longer flight reaches the mainland, with more places to explore and islands and ocean in the background.

Afternoon light

Most flights take off between 2 and 5 pm.

Rain or shine

We fly rain or shine. If the pilots decide a mountaintop is not safe that day, they find a beautiful, secluded spot that is, like a lake lower in the mountains or a quiet beach.

Booking

Your flight is booked with 49 North Helicopters. Your photography is reserved with a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer. All prices are subject to GST.
