Family of Four.

Just like that. A family of four. One of those crazy 2 hour labor stories... it's true. It happens. A sweet couple of hours tucked away in mom and dads room. Staring at baby Holland's sweet little face drifting in and out of sleep while we chatted. She really is adorable and her older brother... is something spectacular as well. Welcome to the world baby girl. We're so glad you're here.

Bre'el and Richard

It was cloudy and rainy and not perfect outdoor photo conditions. We weren't stressed as we had the session planned for inside their home. The cats were hilarious and ever curious and at times down right in my face! Very entertaining!! I loved our session and just love a new mom that has the grace to make it all look so easy! Well done momma! The sun came out and that beautiful light... the day... led us outside as well. Looking forward to meeting the newest addition.... soon!

Withered roses

There is beauty in a story. Whether you see it at the time or long after. There is beauty in a rose, when it's growing, when it blooms, and long after. Time catches us all. Whether we are aware or not. There is beauty in the presence of time, in the stillness of a story. In a wrinkle, a scar, in the weathered petals of a once vibrant rose. There is beauty in growing older, if your story is full of wonder and love and loss and perfect imperfections. All things have stories. All people. All you have to do is choose to listen, and dare to ask. Be brave friends. Today is a brand new day.

Heart Melting Sweetness

There really are no words for a session like this. Baby Madden turned on the charm... big time. Welcome to the world little friend. May all of your days bring this kind of sweetness. ox (remember their fabulous maternity session?)

Home

I recently ventured to Victoria for this lovely family photo session in their new home. I came across this quote and fell in love; with their session, with their beautiful baby girl and with the quote. "What I love most about my home, is who I share it with." -Tad Carpenter Amen Tad. I feel the same. Hope you love this Victoria newborn session as much as I do.
