Sunshine, a whiskey distillery on Vancouver Island, beautiful people, ADORABLE children and vintage romance? YES PLEASE. Des and Mikes wedding was truly dreamy. So much attention to detail, so many beautiful elements which made this wedding full of gorgeous moments. But, if you are getting married, and have children... let me just be the one to warn you now... the children will steal the show. Des and Mikes four sweet sidekicks totally made their wedding out of control cute and wonderful. When I saw Emmy's tutu I knew... Poor Des and Mike, didn't stand a chance against their glorious creations. A totally beautiful day, amazing setting, stunning flowers (Purely Flower always amazing, but seriously exceptional here!!!) and sweet moments during their ceremony (thanks to help from the lovely Barbra Densmore) made this wedding truly one of a kind. Thank you, for choosing me. ox

A Qualicum Beach wedding

The perfect way to start off my 2013 wedding season was Katy, Eric and Briggs. Qualicum beach is one of my favourite places for a wedding, it is absolutely breathtaking. Katy and Eric welcomed gorgeous baby Briggs to their family just a month before Elliot was born, so if anyone was going to understand me... it was Katy. It was a perfect transition back into 'wedding photographer' mode. Having Albertan ties mixed with a West Coast flare, made for an incredible mix of beachy cowboys (and gals). I loved every single moment. As I relive them here now... I just want to hug them all. oxox

Anh and Jeremy

The Filberg Grounds are a dreamy place to get married. Deer roam freely, fruit, vines, flowers everywhere, overlooking the water... gorgeous. Anh and Jeremy are a fabulous pair full of creativity, art and both seriously charismatic in their own ways. I am not going to repeat this every post from now on, but I can't believe I haven't blogged this yet! In any case, growing babies and having babies and raising them.... appears to be taking a bit of my energy. In any case, as always... so grateful for Anh and Jeremy's energy and awesomeness. Even almost an entire year later. xo
