Mommys everywhere

I think first time Mommys everywhere can agree, the first few weeks of motherhood, are exhausting, confusing at times painful and a total blur. You are desperately trying to figure out sleeping, and feeding, and burping and the rhythms that will become your new everyday life. It is kind of a crazy time.

However, it is also one of the most blissful. The most divine and the most beautiful as well. As your child grows and the years march on, you will find yourself wrapped up sweet memories of these precious first few weeks. You barely remember the chaos. You mostly remember the magic. You watch these perfect little beings in complete awe that you could have possibly made something so perfect. You kiss their little face a million times. You experience a big love, for the first time. Or at least that is how it is/was for me.

Sharing these moments and being a part of capturing this incredible phase of life, has become some of my most cherished memories. I am so grateful to be a part of your family history. Your stories. Meet Benjamin. Jeremy and Bridget's exquisite creation.

Roman.1.

Watching you grow. Watching your family hold you for the first time. Watching everyone fall in love with you. Watching you become the sweetest little guy around. Watching your family grow. And, now a first birthday. It hardly seems real. You are such a beautiful addition to the world, and I'm so happy to have you in my world. Happy first birthday Roman Andrew!! You are so very loved.

Taking Cover

One of my favorite things is when a fabulous woman approaches me and says. "I have an idea". It just about immediately makes my day. When D'Arcy let me know a few of her ideas for a shoot with her girls. I was instantly on board. She said she loves her girls in the morning, all snuggly and cute. We thought we'd make a studio shoot into a big comfy white bed, and let the girls play. So much fun and I love our results. Such beautiful girls and such a great way to keep me on my toes. I've been dying to share, and just haven't found the time. Meet Ella and Molly.

Moments with Maclaren

I love kids. Innocent. Open. Vibrant. Full of potential and infinite possibility. There we were at Miracle Beach on a windy spring day. Sweet Maclaren with her perfect little voice sharing the secrets of the universe with me and most importantly where the seven dwarfs were hiding. It was truly my pleasure. Until we meet again lovely girl! xo

Leola is 5.

Our sweet little friend Leola turned five. I've always been a sucker for soaking wet, crooked goggled, hair in face, jumpy, divey, splashy kids... having the time of their lives. My lifeguarding days were full of them, and I always get a smile seeing the pure joy that water and kids bring. Besides, it gives Maisie a great opportunity to show off her fancy bikini. Happy Birthday my little friend. We love you so much. xoxo
