Okay, Auntie Marie, Karyn, Tara and mom... here is a new blog post!

Hopefully I will satisfy your photographic hunger with Rob and Veronica... and try and get a few more up here this week as well!

Its been an interesting few weeks. To be honest, I've wanted to be curled up in bed most of the time. (more on that later) I believe I've shot 20 weddings so far this season. Which means, I'm trying my hardest to stay rested and away from cameras as much as possible, until the next wedding... so I can stay fresh and full of creativity. So Sunday/Monday amounted to Bryce and I being the laziest I think we've ever even been. It was awesome. However, back to work today.

Meet Rob and Veronica. They booked me over a year and a half ago for their August 1st wedding. I was thrilled to be a part of it. They were all so much fun, had an amazing time laughing and making fun of each other and their happiness is infectious. What a great day!

Kisses for Veronica's niece Sienna (who you may recall from this post) A brief and intimate ceremony results in a happy bride and groom. Love this 'just married' image. We snuck off for some wedding party shots, the guys... hilarious. The ladies? Stunning. Then we stow away with the newlyweds for some more intimate images of the two of them, on their wedding day. And then, onwards to the reception held at Sequoia Springs Golf Course. For some more wonderful moments. A father/daughter dance that had me in tears (and Veronica too). And I'll leave you with this image of a beautiful bride on her wedding day.

A perfect wedding at Painters Lodge, in Campbell River...together with a fabulous down town newly wed session, and a picture perfect reception in Granny Painters Room @ Painters Lodge... a happy photographer, and these images!!!

Susan and Dave

With a venue like April Point Resort on a day like August 1 2008... there are not many words that can describe the outcome of Susan and Dave's wedding day. Nothing makes me happier than big black skies with the sunshine making heroic efforts to burst through the heavy clouds... My favorite moments, were jumping into a boat with the newly weds, and venturing off into unchartered waters to find the perfect rock, poking out of the sea... I'm pretty sure there has never been a bride and groom standing on that very spot before, and quite honestly... that is magic. I'm not going to say anything more... I believe their images will do that for me.

Sharing the love....

Recently, I met up with these two lovebirds to capture a few images of them on their holidays. We met at Painters Lodge (where they had spent their vacation) to create their images. I can hardly wait until they come back in the summer with their kids... we will be doing another session, and I am so excited!!!

Amy just emailed me after seeing her images for the first time and said..."Oh my Erin..... I love them, love them, love them. I can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so much. I can truly say that I think you captured that love that we both have for each other. And it was so fun!"

Now thats what I like to hear!!!!

As for me, I'm off for the annual "before weddings consume my soul" road trip. There will be news when I return! Stay tuned for images from that... plus a wedding on Saturday too!!!
