When people ask if I’m crazy busy, I always say. “not really, it’s great”.
The truth is, it’s a bit busy, ok it’s busy. But all amazing, feeling inspired, balanced and excited to create.
The blog has been neglected a bit lately, but here is a sneak preview as to why!
A lot of amazing families, a bit of sunshine and a bit of fun times all wrapped into one.

Sweetness on the Lake

A recurring theme lately in my images has been my amazing wedding couples creating AMAZING children and then me having the immense pleasure of photographing them all over again. In a totally different way. Remember their wedding?? Refresher HERE.

This baby girl is surrounded by all sorts of love and just oozes sweetness!

I couldn’t help it.
I’m out in my studio, working away and I come across these three images from 2010. Un-shared. Not blogged. In fact I came across a whole world of images not shared. I am trying to not be crazy and spend every waking second blogging everything I haven’t. I’m not going to, but I have vowed that whenever possible, I’ll go back a bit and share even just a few. There is not one session that I don’t want to share, always. It’s just… time. You know. Time.

It is an unspoken, irreplaceable, and an indescribable kind of magic.

Introducing Hudson William!

Not so very long ago we photographed Tiffany and Braden and their beautiful belly creation. It is my pleasure…. to introduce the little love bug that joined the world on February 10, 2010. I was most honored to have them journey over from their happy little cozy nest in Vancouver, solely for our photo session last weekend. How cute is he?

On a personal note, you may have noticed my lack of blogging lately. Well, apparently creating a baby takes just as much of my creative energy as physical. So, I’m rolling with it for a while. But, believe me… when the I feel inspired to blog more, you’ll be the first to know! Have an amazing weekend!

I know that I’ve posted a whole lot about little Landon lately… see last two entries, but I just can’t help it!
Here is little Landon at two weeks old, with his mom and dad.
What a love. (Can’t possibly tell you how excited this makes me to meet our little girl! Not long now…)

Seriously? I love these images. How gorgeous is Shannon?
This session has been booked for ages, and it wasn’t until recently that we realized we were in the same prenatal yoga class.
I had such an amazing time creating these images… I feel so fortunate to meet such amazing people. To photograph such milestones in peoples lives, and to get to convey the beauty I see in everything.
I know for sure, being pregnant… you don’t exactly feel glamorous and pretty all the time (or most of the time), and I can’t tell you how much I love being able to show expectant mothers how gorgeous they really are. Shannon, you my dear… are radiant!
