So much to share.

To say I'm enjoying creating images again, would be a huge understatement. Although I'm trying to find and create a balance between being a new mom and a working new mom, I'm head over heels in love with photography. Completely.

I get to create images of amazing people, gorgeous children and wonderful families. I then get to share the images with them, and hear their response. Having images that I love and that I think are cool is one thing... creating photographs that will be cherished by families for years to come (and having them tell you so) is priceless. Totally priceless. I feel so lucky to be able to share my joy for life, light and capturing fleeting moments with so many people. It is an amazing bonus that there are so many people who enjoy my photographs. I can't imagine a better way to spend my time away from my own little baby girl.

Thank you all for sharing in my joy.

Watching these two gorgeous grads in the evening light, made me realize that one day... I'll be the parent watching my little girl get her photos taken in a field, with sunlight dancing on her face. Ok, who am I kidding, I'll be photographing my little girl on that day!

In any case, Congratulations to all of the Grads of 2010.

I was you, yesterday. Or so it feels like. In fact it was 13 years ago, and I wasn't looking anything like this! Soak it all up. The way you feel today, may not last. Embrace your ideas, your dreams, your hearts desires. Anything is possible. It truly is. Create your perfect life. Spread love. Contribute in positive ways. Reach for the light that is beyond your grasp. Wear a bikini. Laugh until you cry with friends, grandparents... everyone. Be better than you think you can be. Eat chips. Garden. Study the world, flowers, your hands. Everything changes. Dance in parking lots to music only you can hear, take care of your body. Hug your mom. Walk your dog more. Be more. Travel. Smell the air in Italy. Touch the pyramids. Do anything. Be more compassionate. Love more. You'll be me before you know it, saying I was graduating 13 years ago. May you be able to say it with a nostalgic smile on your face.

OH! The Places You’ll Go!!!
