Well, I’ve come out of hiding… or partially. I am still enjoying some “me” (and puppy) time. Going for walks, day treks with my fellas (Bryce and Frank) and just really getting myself all back together in preparation for another “busy” season. Which begins in March this year.

In any case, I’m not really back shooting yet. I am only taking on about one shoot per week until March. I really need to or else, I fear my creative juices will run dry… leaving me without anything to offer my clients, and that would be awful.

So, I’m re-grouping. I have shut the Willow Point studio doors, and am only doing studio shoots that were booked before the holidays, in my home. We are in the very beginning stages of building our own studio in our own yard. I will keep you posted on that as we move along with that.

In the meantime, here is beautiful Jana, her husband Craig, and their amazing little boy Shea. Congratulations you guys, he is such a LOVE BUG!!!

Off to answer emails, phone calls, re-design wedding packages, business cards and write up wedding contracts, and then eventually clean my house… yah, that’s my “me” time.

Just wanting to fill you in on dates that have already been booked with ERIN WALLIS PHOTOGRAPHY.
It looks to be an exciting year with a variety of wedding locations virtually all over Vancouver Island. We’ll be at Tigh-na-mara in Parksville, Quadra Island, Victoria, Courtenay, Cortes Island, Campbell River and more.

Below are the already RESERVED dates for 2009.

May 16,30
June 20 and June 27,28
July 4,8,11,18,19 and 25,26
August 1,7,8,13,15,18,28 and 29.
September 12 and 19.
October 11.

The above dates have all been scooped up, and I am already booking into 2010 and have a number of dates there going as well. I love having space. Having time. Having silent moments to regroup. To create.

I love decorating our home (consisting mainly of many photo canvases). Spending time with our puppy. I really love re-visiting images from 2008 and creating special one of a kind art pieces for my clients homes. We have just created this one, from our August session. I can’t WAIT to see it big, and on their wall (shhh don’t tell the fella if you recognize him… its a secret)!
