Magic and Light.

There are rare occasions when the universe offers you moments like these, LIGHT like this.
When sunlight is offered to you bursting through an incredible storm, amidst a downpour of rain, you take it. Quietly. Humbly. (not that I was either) You take it, and then you take your bride and groom out from under their umbrellas and tell them excitedly to “LOOK AT THE LIGHT”. I was totally overwhelmed by this remarkable gift. It wasn’t for long, I believe it was 10 minutes of no rain, and pure magic, but it was enough. Enough to remind me that, we are certainly surrounded by something sublime, surreal and powerful.
Appreciative, Grateful, and Awestruck. That’s me.
When Jeremy and Tabitha originally contacted me to photograph their wild west coast wedding, I was instantly inspired, but had already booked a birthday party for the same day… Luckily I had some wonderful clients who even moved their daughters first birthday party to the day before, to enable me to capture these wedding images for Tabitha and Jeremy. I am so honored, moved and grateful to have been at the Wickaninnish Inn with you all, (all eleven of you) It truly restored my faith in believing that small, intimate weddings are possible on Vancouver Island!
These images… this light… Tofino, British Columbia, are all, very special to me.
I hope your week is full of amazing light.

Erin, I knew from the moment you walked in the door that you were “on fire”! And to watch you on the beach – I was one of only a few out there – was simply amazing! I haven’t seen anyone so excited about their work in a long time and the results show it.
If that’s a sample, I can’t wait until all the rest of the shots come to Jeremy and Tabitha.
They have to be so happy that their day came together so fantastically well. And that you were part of it.
Keep up the good work and enjoy Mexico!

Erin, you have captured the essence of Long Beach and melded it with the ecstacy of their moment. Truly a momentous time for them and perfectly recorded by you for all of us to share.

When Jeremy sent out an email the other day thanking his family for attending his wedding to Tabitha, there was a link to your website. I knew before I saw the first photo that you are indeed a rare breed when it comes to taking photographs.
Not only did you enjoy yourself while taking the pictures, but the photos prove how much fun you have with a camera. I have not seen pictures this good in a long, long time.
I wish all the success that comes your way. Hope Mexico gives back to you what you give to your clients!
Cheers,
Jason

Erin….what amazing shots. Yes the world gives you gifts, like perfect lighting on the West Coast. Sometimes I wish there was sun on our magical day, but then I take a glance at the enlarged group shot and fill with inner joy when I see all the laughter and beauty that you captured that day. You are truly talented and have a sould of gold. Love to shoot again! Rain, or shine!
